Looks very nice, can't tell much from the IS but the ASET looks good. It has longer lower girdle facets which I like too.

Looks good.

what about price ?? and do you think I should seek a better IS image ?? Do you think there is a better stone out there for the money ?!

There may well be a better stone out there for the money, but how long will it take for you to locate it?
How much cheaper will it be and will the cost saving be worth the effort?
Will you get a reliable service from the cheapest seller?
If you eventually find a better stone for less money, will someone else beat you to it?
Then when you come back looking for the stones that you'd previously shortlisted, will they also be sold?

Play or pass?
The choice is yours.

It's the winners curse and applies to auctions too; nobody else wanted to pay the price that you did, at the time you bought it.

I can see enough from the ASET to judge the stone so to me another IS image isn''t strictly necessary although you could certainly request one. As for pricing is the diamond online or from a store? This can influence pricing considerably.

here is a better IS. (sorry couldnt work out how to reduce it to 100kb other than hiding some of the diamond)
2.22 G VS2 - do you think I should go for it ?!

I can't tell you yes you should buy it, only that looks like a good diamond and worth consideration for purchase,

thanks Lorelei

I think I will give myself another day then probably go for this diamond as I have been researching heavily for a couple of months now and at around $21,500/£13,000 I think I am getting good value and a good stone. Unless anyone flags up any issues in the next 24 hours with the stone! You could look forever for that perfect diamond.

my search may well be over with thousands of £/$ saved and a much better stone purchased than would of been achieved had it not been for this website.

thank you

Thats a gorgeous diamond, you would need to ask Jon if it is eyeclean to your standards. Depends also on whether you would prefer to drop to SI clarity if eyeclean compared to VS also.

Which of the 2 would posters on the forum choose if it was them ??

The 2.22 G VS2 $21,500

or

the Hearts and Arrows 2.16 F Si2 $20,500 ?
