Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to hear some of your thoughts on this 1.72 G SI1. It seems to do fairly well on HCA (X X X VG - 1.4 TIC), but I''d like to hear your input as well. Haven''t seen it person yet, but I am planning to. As copied from the GIA cert:

Clarity Grade: SI1
Cut Grade: Excellent
Depth: 61.9 %
Table: 57 %
Crown Angle: 35.5°

Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick, Faceted

Comments: Pinpoints are not shown. Surface graining is not shown.

It looks like a very nice diamond! That is great you will be able to see it in person, check carefully it is eyeclean to your standards and away from the store lights if possible, but it looks like you may have a winner!

I was also curious what people's thoughts were on the 35.5 crown / 75% lower half...

Sorry, I don''t have any pics at this time - just trying to flesh out any known issues with the #s.

As long as its around 77 its fine.
If its under 75 it might be an issue.
View it in diffused lighting to check.
GIA rounds the lgf% to the nearest 5% and in that combo it can make a difference.
