Many thanks for the responses to an earlier post regarding another stone.

I'm looking at another stone with these dimensions and am looking for opinions. Here are the spec's.

H&A Round Brilliant AGS000

Size: 6.19 X 6.19 X 3.84 (.90 ct)

Color: F
Clarity: VS1
Depth: 62.2
Table: 54
Crown Angle: 34.7
Pavilion Angle: 40.6

HCA reported 0.9 with Excellent for Fire, Light return, and Scintillation. Very Good for spread.

Thoughts?

TIA

That stone may face up a bit smaller in diameter because it is on the deep end of ideal. I looked at a stone with similar dimensions, and I personally did not love the small 54 table. I''d personally prefer a table from 55-57 and a depth less than 62.

I bought a stone with a 53 table and a 62 depth and I think it''s amazing. Don''t be scared by that. Even if it is facing up small, it''s so increadibly minor you could never in a million years tell.

I don''t know much about the crown/pavillion relatinoship, though. Hopefully somebody wiser will give an opinion. HCA seems to like the combo though.

Oh yeah, I think the small table looks hawt. But that''s an opinion. Yours may differ. But it''s not going to necessarily hurt performance.

Thanks for the responses so far. I haven''t seen the stone in person yet, but I was quoted around $6,400. The best comparison I''ve seen so far is a D VS1 with similar stats for 7k.

My question to the experts: Is 6,400 a reasonable price for a .90 F VS1 H&A AGS000? I will of course try to haggle the price, but if the jeweler won''t budge, is this still a good deal?

Thanks!
