Hi wsblue

The diamond looks very promising, if it is for sale online do you have an Idealscope image?

Thank you somuch for your help!!!
I do have a copy of the certificate which they gave me, but would need to scan it to show you the image. It shows tiny speckles on the table to the left of the center, thats it! As for the idealscope image, I don't have one. The specs on this diamond are amazing just need to know why the price is so good. It worries me! $21k is what the price is.
*Also it is not online but through a store in my area, and they deal overseas directly, no middle man (so they said). They have so many diamonds in stock, and this one was the best in our size/price range. Thank you!

When was the report issued?

The price is as you said very good, so best to get it checked out with an independent appraiser.

It was issued March 13, 2009. Another question..How do you know when you buy a diamond that the report matches the diamond? Its a lot of $$$ so how can we be sure? Thanks!

Matched the inclusions in the diamond with that noted on the clarity plot. Which is also why hiring an independent appraiser is a smart thing to do for such a large purchase.

You can get a jeweller or appraiser to verify the stone matches the report in some cases, or if the diamond has inclusions that can be seen either with the naked eye or 10x loupe, you can check it out yourself. I would recommend getting an independant appraisal once you receive the diamond and make sure you get a return policy to make sure you have time to do this.

appraiser tool.

Let me just add the only marks on this stone is 1-cloud and it is located on the table to the left, I did not see it until I brough home a copy of the report and studied what a cloud is. There are no other clharacteristics anywhere in the diamond. Please let me know your thoughts! It has excellent scores when I used the cut advisor and scored a 1.3 Just concerned with what this "cloud" is and does.
Thank you as always!

Should not be a problem at VS2 level.

Clouds are as a rule, only of possible concern in SI clarity grades if they are the grade making inclusions, generally you should be ok with VS2 but it doesn''t hurt to check with the vendor or an appraiser.
