Thoughts on cushion setting?

Hi all, I originally posted this on SMTR but I think maybe this is the appropriate forum for it...
I am new here but have learned so much already (and have fallen in love with cushions!). I am considering this Beverly K setting in platinum, and would love to hear any thoughts...especially whether you think this would work well with a smaller cushion (.7-.8ish?).
Also, I would love to see photos from anyone who has a similar setting, particularly if you have a smaller ring size (I''m a 5 and want my ring to look delicate). I''m also trying to get a sense of how it will sit on the hand - I''m looking for a pretty low setting, and I know the center stone sticks out above the halo somewhat on this ring, but I''m trying to figure out how much...

My ring is like that and on a tiny hand size (5) it does look like it sits high from the side but I really like it. I did want something closer to my finger but I ended up really happy with it. When I get it back I will post pictures from the side.

Can I ask where you got your setting from? Any pics (even if not from the side)?
My concern is that I want to be able to easily wear my ring every day, and personally I feel like low-set rings are better for that. Did your ring feel pretty comfortable?

This BK setting from Pearlmans looks like it might be the same one?? I think it would look lovely with a cushion your size but do think you should double check the width of the halo to make sure it is proportioned correctly and wouldn''t distract from the center stone.

I love the setting you linked, just gorgeous! I think it will look great with a .7-.8 cushion.

Just to throw a couple of other options into the mix, I also like these options. They don''t have cushions in them, but I bet they could be made for a cushion.
