Thoughts on a wedding band

So my fiancee wants a diamond wedding band in prong setting. I was thinking around 0.25CT - 0.33CT. What do people think about this one? I been to a few local jewelry center and the prices on 0.25 have been >$700. Am I missing something on why the Zales piece is cheaper?

That Zales ring uses poor quality diamonds. They are rated I1-I2 so they will likely look cloudy and/or included with black carbon. They also won't be well cut so they're not gonna sparkle like they should.

The Zales band is made with very poor quality diamonds - stated color/clarity is H-I/I1-I2 - these diamonds will not be sparkly and lively.

Panda and Mary are absolutely right, even with such small stones, cut quality is still very important and you do want reasonable quality stones too as regards colour and clarity. Many of the vendors sell beautiful diamond wedding bands with carefully selected accent diamonds, if you give us an idea of budget we could post some suggestions for you?

My price point is around $500. I have also noticed that many places don't list the Cut, only the average color and clarity.

Your budget is low for what you want. Very low. Your best bet is to go with a pre-owned right. What is your lady's ring size?

Yea, I realized the wedding bands are expensive. Her finger size is 4.75.
