Hi all,
I am in Chicago and looked at a stone from a jewelery store on Wabash and not sure if it is a good deal. It looks clean using the loop though I am concerned on the color grading of an I though it appears white to my eye. It is GIA certified with the following specs:
Round Brilliant
Measurements: 7.37 - 7.41 x 4.52 mm
Carat Weight: 1.51
Color Grade: I
Clarity Grade: SI2
Cut Grade: Excellent
Proportions:
Depth: 61.2 %
Table: 58 %
Crown Angle: 34°
Crown Height: 14.5 %
Pavilion Angle: 41.2°
Pavilion Depth: 43.5 %
Star length: 50 %
Lower Half: 80 %
Girdle: Thin to Slightly Thick, Faceted
Culet: None
Finish:
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluorescence: Faint
The price is $8600. Is the price reasonable and is I an ok color grade for GIA?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
