Thoughts on a stone?

I would appreciate some general input on this stone.

I am mostly curious about the consistency in color across the entire idealscope image and what that will mean when viewing the diamond in person.

It is just above $10k

Beautiful stone AGS 0. So no need for an ideal scope-- and there isn't one posted so I don't know what you are referring to. The ASET image on the certificate is a computer generated one based on the numbers, but isn't of the actual stone. I think if you are looking for a gorgeous stone at 7mm with ideal light return you've got it.

This one is nice too. It's got a good HCA despite it's depth, so it's worth asking for an idealscope image. It's 6.9mm but it is H VS1 http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/H-VS1-Excellent-Cut-Round-Diamond-1453532.asp I'd get an idealscope and see what happens with it.

Your lucky, you already have the IS image in the tab button above the diamond. I'm not sure if you saw that or not. It looks fabulous, and it says that's no longer available so I'm assuming that you either purchased it or put it on hold. Good for you! It's gorgeous, so if it's in budget I would go for it!

Thank you both very much. I was indeed looking at the Idealscope in the tab above the diamond image. My main concern was that there would not be much contrast in the diamond with such a consistent coloring in the idealscope. I am a first time buyer, so I am still learning as much as I possibly can.

Thank you both for the re-assurance. I do have this diamond held, so I think I am going to pull the trigger on it!
