I''m 15 pages and 3 exams away from graduating from college..God knows I could use a cheering squad..and I bet you do, too. Papers? Exams? Dissertations? We got this, so let''s cheer each other on!

Elle, I did 18 one sememster while playing sport. The classes weren''t that bad... just the 4 separate weeks that semester, when ALL my tests were within 5 days of eachother.

Sigh. I still have 36 hours to complete before I finish my UNDERGRAD.
I''m jealous of all of you who are graduating!!!!
I plan on taking two courses this summer and the rest next year. Hopefully I''ll graduate next May.

I''m sure you all will appreciate this:

For one of my classes this semester I had to write a 10 page paper. Well, turns out that some of the students didn''t do it and convinced our prof to not count it toward our final grade! It was originally 40% of our grade and now it is worth NOTHING. Can you believe that ???

He said to "make up for it" he''ll grade them, and if we would have gotten an A he''ll add two points to our final grade. Except I was already getting an A in the class and so those two extra points will do nothing for me. Sigh.

Anyway, one more exam until I get a mini break before summer school starts!

Oh my gosh Sarah you have no idea. I started a $h!t storm. It's an online class, and so he sent out a mass email to all the students to break the news. I hit "reply all" and replied with something along the lines of, "Um....so you're telling me the paper is worth nothing now? I worked my butt of and so it would be nice it was worth SOMETHING". And then all hell broke loose. I checked my email the next day and there was close to FIFTY replies from students complaining. There were a couple of people who told us all that we should be *happy* that the paper didn't count and we should just let it go (I'm assuming they didn't do it

). And then of course some people started getting snarky with those students and it was like one big argument going on through email.

Meanwhile, the professor hadn't replied to any of us. One girl wrote an email where she completely flipped out (cursing and everything...calling our prof names....) and threatened to meet with the Dean. I replied to her to suggest that she'll catch more bees with honey and then she let me have it.

It was crazy, to say the least. lol

But the prof finally contacted us and told us that he'll add two points if our paper would have been an A. Like I said though, that means nothing to me. Oh well. I'm taking two courses in that subject this summer as well and if they need a paper I'm going to ask if I can turn in that one. I doubt they will want a paper though, since it's a summer course.

Wow that sucks!!

People can be so rude! Lol the worst thing I had going on this semester was I had a mini-recall war with people over books from the library. If you need a book you can "recall" it when someone has it checked out and it''ll be due 7 days later. I asked people a few weeks before the paper was due to cooperate and share books with me so we could all get them easier..and a few responded and did share..others tried to recall.

It wasn''t too bad thankfully and most people did share, lol. How long does your summer class last? I think mine was like 4 or 5 weeks when I took one.

I just finished my first year of grad school, and it felt like graduating college, lol!!!!! I just handed in my 35 page paper on Federal Rules of Evidence 404b....boy what a doozy!!!! I'm so relieved for summer break!!!

Turned in my last homework assignment today, will give my senior design presentation tomorrow, and turn in my 53-page (eek!) final report as well, then one more 20 page paper due Friday (but it''s already written).

Then two finals!

Then only one more semester, and I''ll have two engineering degrees. Whoo.
