I don''t know how to attach photos but it''s at www.jamesallen.com under designer settings.

It is by Danhov and is the E15. Does anyone have this setting?

Does anyone have a close up of the prongs?

Will my wedding band sit close to this? I know they''ll be some gap.

This is very similar to a Henri Daussi ring I tried on and fell in love with. Bad stone so I didn''t buy that ring and the Daussi comes as a package. The Danhov sits a little lower hence the wedding ring problem. But the plus is I think the prongs are much nicer!

I want to set a rectangular cushion into this setting. Comments please!

Thanks Everyone.

it''s a very pretty ring, very classic and I like how the stone is fairly low set and won''t catch on stuff... but it definitely won''t be flush... it''ll be close enough maybe? I dunno. The longer your stone is the more it will stick out I imagine into the band area. but I''ve seen rings that are no where near flush that look awesome together! what is the design of your wb?

My Wedding Band is just a simple plain band. It looks good with the classic tiffany stlye setting I have now. It looked good with the Henri Daussi ring but it fit flush with that. The Daussi raised the basket up above the shank of the ring.

Anyone have any comments on the prongs? Quality of Danhov? Another similar option?

there are a few pricescopers with Danhov rings. I have never seen one in person but i haven''t heard anything bad about their quality here on PS.

here it is, from James Allen (I know it's big but I wanted to get the prong detail for you)

OK now that everyone can see it What do you all think?

Remember I'm setting a rectangular cushion in this.

Edited to add: Wink Jones at www.winkjones.com has WSE5102 setting which is similar but with double claw prongs.

Anywhere else I can get claw prongs?

OK what do you think of these options.

stone hunter, I''m not 100% sure but I think the claw prongs have to be done by hand so they aren''t going to come in a stock setting. I honestly can''t think of any ready made settings with the claw prongs off the top of my head, all the ones we see are done my Leon Mege or I''ve seen WF do it for their custom rings. Wink does great work though so one of his settings might be a great option too.

THANKS I was afraid that the claw prongs would be custom. I heard/read that Leon is 3,000 for the setting and up. I really don''t want to spend that much.

And of course I''d like to buy the setting and stone from the same vendor to make life simple.

Does Wink sell cushion cuts? I don''t want much, just everything. But I do really like the Danhov.
