Girls, i''ve been waiting for the changeover for days so my posts don''t get lost, but i can''t wait any longer....

I got engaged four days ago.
Amazing dinner at jamie oliver''s restaurant Fifteen.
Then woke up the next morning to find a trail of rose petals from my bed to the lounge.
Ring was inside a set of Russian dolls.
Gorgeous F coloured cushion, just over a carat. You may remember we thought of going much bigger but felt frowned upon in the UK. Well, we decided to have a smaller (though a carat isn''t small in the real world!) "everyday" ring and then get a bigger ring on our anniversary for special occasions. I am so glad we went this way, because I''ve been feeling very self-conscious even with this size at work (I work in a deprived community) and there is no way I could wear a bigger one at work. So although I was going to be all ballsey and go with the bigger size, I just chickened out in the end, sorry to disappoint you all! But I''m already very emotionally attached to this ring
Sorry I can''t post a pic coz my fiance (YAY!) lurks on PS so i''ve only posted a tiny corner of ring to show it actually exists!
No, i didn''t cry but we both got teary eyed! We cried a couple of days after though, like a delayed reaction thing!
I am very, very happy. It was perfect.
