Thinking of pulling trigger on the JamesAllen. Advice?

Hello Everyone,

In comparing 2 diamonds (both 1 CT, I color, VS2, and supposedly ideal cut, and similar price). I put them both in the Holloway Cut Advisor and strangely enough the jamesallen produced a score of 1.7 versus 3.2 for the whiteflash comparison.

That jamesallen diamond seems like a great value. Am I missing something?? Can anyone suggest something better for what I'm seeking?

JA has a slightly smaller table and slightly deeper but no red flags to me. Nice ASET and IS on the WF. have you asked JA for an ASET and an IS? They allow a max of three stones to be evaluated with those methods. Good pricing on both. You may want to put them on hold or reserve so no one swoops them out from you.

Ugh, I was in the process of pulling the trigger on the JA and JA's customer service informed me that someone just beat me to it (by 5 minutes).

back to the drawing board.

They recommended this one as an alternative, but the Holloway Cut Advisor gives this one a 3.7 which is rather high (I was looking for something under 2.0).
