I''ve been doing a lot of reading on this site for the last month or so. PriceScope has taught me so much beyond color and clarity! I''ve finally narrowed down my search and am seriously considering this one.

Do you think it''s a good buy or could I do better? - want to stay at about 5,500. By the way, when the online jeweler tells you the stone is eyeclean - I suppose it would be foolish of him to lie about it?

1.10 round GIA certified - $5,578.00
G/SII - eye clean
depth 61.9
table 55
symmetry: excellent
polish : very good
thin to medium faceted girdle
fluorescence: none
crown angle: 35.0/
pavillion: 40.8
HCA rating : 1.6

Ditto.....I''d want this as well, and a sarin if you can get it.

It looks like a very nice stone. I got 2 different SI1 stones from BN, both listed as eye clean and both of them definitly were, so I had a good experience.

I don''t have a Sarin report - but here is the link which shows the GIA report - it''s from 2006 so it shows the details GIA previously omitted.
Very true.....but since they round figures up/down, it''s hard to make fine distinctions.

That''s why we''re suggesting Sarin or Idealscope.....to get the "unrounded" version.
