Since we often as humans mostly talk about what goes wrong, I wanted to do a thread about something that made me very happy today.
My diamond studs were stolen/lost this summer. After finally getting some funds from the insurance company and hunting for the right diamonds (wanted a matched pair of OEC's) and waffling regarding the settings, I finally made up my mind. I had the settings made custom and handmade at FSguld in Stockholm, Sweden. When I picked them up I was extremely happy but once I had gotten home I noticed that the bezels were slightly different. After the issues with my ring I looked at these like a hawk especially since they are handmade and since I want to do more pieces with them. Still loved the earrings to death and it was nothing my SO could see but I could see it.
Fast forward a couple of days and I go in to try on the size of a ring they were refurbishing completely for me. The day I left the ring my fingers were swollen so I was worried that the size would be wrong. So they offered to call me before they set the stones so I could come in and try the size before setting the stones. When I came in they asked again if I was completely satisfied with my studs, I then mentioned that the bezels were slightly different. After looking at the studs the assistant said that for her personally they looked fine but if it bothered me they could fix it. After I said yes, she asked if I wanted to do it now or later and said that they would do them as soon as possible so I don't have to be without them for too long.
They have a certain ring that I have been in love with for the last year, and always ask to look at. They asked me if I have any photos of it in case it gets sold and I responded that I would have to bring a camera next time. After I left I received a MMS with a photo of it.
The way I am always treated there always leaves me feeling great. Of course it does not hurt that the do some amazing pieces and have great prices, especially when considering that everything is hand made.
So if anyone is in Sweden I can really recommend FSguld!
Oh yeah I will attach a blown up photo of the earrings.
