So that's what we have, too, since you are right across the street from us! My husband just said it was a lot and that the neighbor who usually plows for us when we get more than a few inches of snow doesn't think his trucks can handle it. That happened to us in Connecticut a few times with big snows. If your regular guy uses a pick-up truck with a plow, you can forget it when the snow is in the 1 to 2 foot range. Then you need the dump trucks with their big plows. So you have to call one of the big (more expensive) companies and get in line behind their their regular customers. C'est la vie.

I'm in northern VA, and we just went out and measured 19 inches of snow outside our house!
I wish I could see it, equestrienne! I have a friend n Charlottesille, Virginia with a new Akita puppy and I bet she and her husband are getting a kick out of him in the snow, too. I used to love to see my dog in the snow...even when he was old. He loved it. He used to look up at the sky and stick out his tongue and he always, always ate a lot of snow!!! I used to ask him if he was a snow dog before I let him out in the snow...and then he knew that it had snowed. He was a smart boy.

My best friend/MOH lives in Baltimore and is getting dumped on with snow. She has a young CKC puppy that has never seen snow before, and it sounds like the pup is LOVING it!
