This is a huge pet peeve of mine!
Sentences without correct punctuation make me crazy!
I was taught to use the Oxford comma, and I use it. (<see?)
Sometimes, reading comments on the internet is enough to make me tear my hair out.
Has nobody paid attention in school? Maddening!

Haha! Love this thread! Love commas, too.

i can't spell but i do try really hard to use better punctuation
i do post on my phone though, so apologies if i don't always get it right

i do most defiantly find bad grammar and punctuation missing from news articles, written by 'proffesional' journalists, infuriating

i have no idea where the comma should have gone in there :mrgreen2:
but im not paid to report the news

I read a great book about punctuation, a few years ago. It was informative, but written in an entertaining style. It actually became a bestseller.

The title is 'Eats Shoots and Leaves'. The picture on the cover is of a panda bear.

The author imagined the panda going into a restaurant, with newspaper headlines the next day:

Eats, Shoots, and Leaves.
