I grew up in Indiana, and besides us Arizona was the only other state that never sprang forward or fell back. We stayed the same year-round. And it was just fine. I’m very happy to revert back to “normal.”

My preference is Standard time year round. But I'm not the one deciding!

Here's an idea.
Let's split the difference.
Let's keep the time right in the middle of DST and standard and not change it.

That is a purrrrfect compromise IMO.

A week to go
its getting real dark in the morning
This are both last Saturday - it was a very big moon remember
But yesterday (Saturday) was very dark when i left home
the main road is well lite and there are a few cars going to the set up the weekly river market, i did pass 2 runners and a cyclist on the bridge but our street was still dark like the middle of the night dark
That mist on the river was fog by the time i got to work
i looked back over our way and it would have been foggy at our place

Ours changed today and I had an hour of lie in as the pets did not realise the clock has gone forward.

It reinforces the concept that it is a function of latitude (N/S) and E/W location within one's time zone.

Look at those "upper left" regions in each time zone shown in blue or violet. Some pretty late sunrises are in store. Not great for commuting or for kids waiting at bus stops or...
