The strong women of PS...

Hmmm, not all those who fleetingly joined PS and disappeared once they have found the help they needed were nice though, IMHO.

Some were downright arrogant, who insisted what they had in mind for their future OHs would be the best and only ring for them, and that no one in their right minds would be disappointed with what they had chosen for them, etc. etc...

They usually started their threads with something in the line of "find me the biggest rock with this budget" etc., etc...

DK :))

....i try not to follow those ones ;)2

I remember some of this posts @dk168 .

What a gorgeous thread! And I'll drink to that!

I have been given great jewellery advice on here, made friends, been kept entertained, followed others jewellery dreams to watch them come true & also recieved a huge out pouring of support 4 years ago when facing a really dark time, which I can never thank you all enough for.

This place is more than a reference tool for me now & I check in pretty much everyday.

You are all an amazing bunch!

When I stood up for myself as a child, I was physically abused. Sometimes I have difficulties in that department but I am inspired and empowered by women who do not back down in the face of disrespect, shaming, differences of opinion, misogyny, prejudism etc.

((((HUGS)))). You went through so much @Begonia but you persevered and made it through hell and back and look at all you have accomplished for you and your loving family today. You rock and you are an amazing individual. I am in awe of you and all you have endured and conquered. You embody the statement "I am woman, hear me roar" !!!

Strong men = leaders whereas strong women = b1tches, and a lot of people still hold that view to this day and age, sadly.
