I love Top Gear!! I don't know who that is and I won't google him either so I keep it a mystery for myself. I wonder if future Top Gear shows will show his face racing or they already do?

Oh, DH and I have always wondered who The Stig is! I guess we'll have to KEEP wondering, since they've evidently fired Mr. Collins and there will be a new Stig.

Honestly I'm a bit disapointed that BBC fired him quick smart. I read a long article about it and the reasons why he did it and it actually made sense. Did you know that he was paid less than 70K a year? That while the presenters and BBC made MILLIONS from his image and Stig merchandise he didn't get a penny from it. With a wife and kids he was struggling financially to survive and took to doing dangerous stunt work to boost his income. I think he hoped to finally made a decent living (not that 70K is a pittance but still!) by revealing himself but now he just got sacked. I totally understand that the Stig is meant to a mystery but obviously they could have come to an arrangement that suited both parties!

Top Gear is our favorite show. It's sad to hear the Stig was not well rewarded for what he added to that show.
