The "seven year itch"...

You ladies make me chuckle

Funnily enough, I also live with a geeky techno gadget nerd. It's his job so I have to make allowances, but it really pi$$es me off. He makes computer games for a living & although very lucrative, it's BORING to death to me. The amount of times I've heard "just researching" etc whilst he's glued to a console playing :snore:

And don't get me started on his iPhone. Just don't. The sooner a stiletto heel goes through that baby, the better

     OMG you're hilarious! I don't wear heels because hubby is exactly my height, but I have them and have definitely wanted to put them on and "accidentally" drop that phone of his in my path. No use though, we have insurance on them and he'd get the even newer droid to replace it. **Sigh** DH would love to make video games for a living! He's a Systems Administrator, but he plays them like he's still a boy. Does yours ever work from home? DH got a new job and they gave him a work laptop and so he works from home more often. I'll pass him by with a huge load of laundry and notice he's a new egg? or something reltated to video gaming!!!!! Then he'll quickly change to a more "work related" article and say he's "RESEARCHING"!!! ugh. done venting, but I definitely understand. It's ok though, because I have PS and diamonds  and he is rather understanding and supportive about that so it's ok.

04diamond, I think we live in a parallel universe

Yes, he works from home occasionally, but he often takes breaks in the form of a game. Just one level though, you understand  He is quite senior in his field & was a Game Director for a major company in Gaming but now owns his own Studio & also owns his very own geeks :D I don't own any stiletto heels either as hubby is my height too & doesn't like me to be taller, which is a bit rubbish. However, I reckon that phone needs to have an accident. Because if it's not FB, Twitter, e-mail or Instagram, it's flipping games!! Argghhhhh!!

We really do although we have no kids yet. You really need to keep me updated on that phone "accident" ! DH is the same, doesn't like me to be too much taller than him ( I will once I get a job in the corporate world and find a different company to work at, I'll be over 6ft!). I wonder and am a bit weary of what he's going to be like when we have kids. I fear him being like your hubby. I'd be absolutely furious if he played his games or worse if he went golfing (that's kind of a joke because he's not athletic at all LOL!). We've talked about it a bit, but I still have to wonder...Oh and does your hubby not turn his phone on silent when you're sleeping? DH doesn't and get email alerts every hour it seems. Makes me want to grab my meat hammer!

Phones are not allowed in the bedroom. He's never even suggested it as I think he knows I would explode brain matter all over the ceiling :D

Don't get me wrong, hubby is utterly fantastic with the girls & they idolise him. He just schedules his golf & triathlon training to be on his weekend days off, which is how it should be in all fairness. It just grinds my nerves, because those girls only see him in the morning for half an hour Mon to Fri, so I do encourage lots of family activity at weekend & tend to plan in advance so i can just tell him rather than ask if its ok :sun: He is a great dad & I'm sure your husband will be too. Children change them, and in my book that has been for the better x
