Hi ladies! I previously posted a question on this forum using my boyfriend''s log-in. (He joined pricescope to get ring advice.) He has figured out why I was unable to make my own log-in. As it turns out, the problem was . . . I''m apparently not very smart.

Anyway, I''m all set up and ready to stop imitating him now. A couple of you headed over to his ring thread and said nice things, so thank you for the encouragement. A few more positive responses and he might actually get my ring done before Christmas!

Looking forward to experiencing all of your vicarious wedding joy

Maggie: Thanks so much for your reply to my post earlier -- not sure I''m replying to your reply in the right spot. From what I read, your date and venue are planned, but your ring is in "process?" Is your diamond a cushion cut? I LOVE the cushion...it''s my favorite. I''d love to hear more about it.

I''m sorry to hear about your mom. How long ago did she pass away? What kind of tumor did she have? I feel tears coming to my eyes thinking of what our loved ones go through with brain tumors. My hubby was the most amazingly wonderful guy on earth. We were married when I was 28. I believe he will always be with me. He taught me how to love. Sorry...don''t need to get into sad things on a diamond site! But anything that reminds us of true love is good, I think.

Will look forward to hearing more about your ring and your plans!

Yes, my ring is in process. My boyfriend has been coming up with ideas since at least December, so I have known about it for awhile. I do know that it is a cushion, and based on the pictures we''ve looked at and conversations we''ve had, I know that he is trying to make it look somewhat antique. If you would like to see it, he has a thread going in SMTR under his user name, glloyd77. But you can''t tell me anything about it. (Feel free to tell me that I will love it though;)

My mom died in 1995 when I was 25 years old. She had breast cancer that metastisized to the brain. When they found it she had over 20 small inoperable tumors that didn''t respond to radiation, so she only lived for about six months after diagnosis. It was extremely hard to lose a parent, but you still somewhere in your brain can rationalize it because we understand that we are supposed to lose our parents before we die. Losing a spouse so young I think is a whole different kind of grief. Your late husband sounds like an extraordinary man. You are so blessed to have had him, and now double blessed to be getting a second chance. I really wish you all the happiness in the world.

Hi MaggieB. I took a look in SMTR...YAY FOR YOU!!!!! That''s all I''ll say
