no,actually the Dems have more money than i do b/c they put up $4680 to win my $3200. i gave them a break b/c if we were going by the true odds they would then have to put up $5760 to win my $3200.

You gave them really good odds, because now it is almost 12:1 (on FiveThirtyEight.)

Yep, from here on out, there will be a reversion to the mean. No real connection between a Redskins football game and the election. Someone happened to notice a correlation going back many years (lucky streak) but it's just superstition so the correlation won't hold up going forward.

What does hold up is statistics (thanks, Nate Silver) and the prediction works even better for large numbers, such as in a federal election.

The choice between superstition and math is an easy one to make.
