And I was just logging back in today after a few months and saw your message -- must have felt my ears burning!

I needed to stop spending money for a while and being on PS is so dangerous. My partner bought a home so we were moving and I needed to wrap up my dissertation work -- plus we found the home right after he accepted a new job so we had to sort out a mortgage while he was technically unemployed and it's an old home so there have been some repairs. Lots of real-life stuff going on, but I'm excited to catch up here now!

And for those who remember, my braces just came off meaning that the engagement ring should be coming fairly soon. Definitely posting it then!

While I understand what you’re saying, PS isn’t a forum designed for political discussion. It’s designed for jewelry enthusiasts and experts to discuss jewelry.
Many if not most come to PS to exhale and escape the political unrest that is literally in constant shift hourly & daily. PS provides ZEN. There are plenty of platforms where one can find political discussions. PS isn’t one of them.

Thank you for thinking of me, @Garnetgirl. I never meant to desert Pricescope. I am just busy with other activities. When I last posted here I wanted to be in touch with one of the old members here who is a good friend, but my real life kept me too tied up to follow through. I think of the posters here often, however.
