The Ladies in Waiting forum is a place where Ladies waiting for the big question can talk to each other, give support for our crazy moments, and see how high we go or hopefully how quickly we come off the Ladies in Waiting list.

Post in this thread to ask to be added to the list and make a new thread introducing yourself. You will get added to the bottom of the list. Once your wait is over and you are engaged, you simply ask to be removed from the list in this thread. But make sure to come back with your story and photos, we all want to ooh and aah over your new bling

Also, stay active! I'm posting the list as is right now, but over the next week I'll do a list cleaning. Any Ladies who have over 500 is safe from list cleaning for 6 months, and any ladis with under 500 post, are safe for 3 months, but try to post more than that: we want to hear from you!

Not inactive necessarily, but not active on the LIW boards. The rules state that if you have more than 500 posts you only need to make one post ANYWHERE on PS in order to stay on the list. Some of the top 10ers haven't posted since Oct-Dec, but aren't yet in danger of being removed due to their tenure and post count.

I'd love to see some updates from our top 10-20 ladies though! Let's hope to see them all coming off by the end of this year!!

Just checking in to say congrats to our new list keeper, and that although I am in the top ten (feels like ages now) and I don't post that regularly, I'm not inactive!

Am also hoping that not too many ladies above me are inactive as I wasn't planning on a big jump up the list at this stage! lol.

You are most definitely not inactive! I don't think any of those top 10ers are being pulled off the list, they all have more than 500 posts and only need to post once ANYWHERE on PS every 6 months to stay on. Madelise had noted that (most) of them hadn't posted on LIW since Oct-Dec, but I don't think anyone is in current danger of being removed. Breathe!

Our diamond is at Pearlmans TODAY. It'll be off to be set by the designer by the end of the week and in 4-6 weeks, we'll have THE ring in hand...anticipating a Christmas time proposal/by the end of the year if all goes according to our plan!

Actually, I forgot to bold #7 epicure. I accidentally put 2/12/12 in my spreadsheet even though it's been since 2/23/11 since she posted.

I have an awesome google doc spreadsheet where people will turn yellow when they have posted for 3 months and red when they haven't posted for 6. Whenever I want to do a cleaning I just see who has an indicator light and then check to see if they've posted more recently. It is awesome

Suchende is actually MissStepCut. I believe she changed her username a while ago and I never got around to changing it on the list. She is still active on PS and her ring has been ready since October, just haven't seen her around LIW recently.

Oh and your google document sounds awesome! I'm not very technologically savvy, so I never used anything like that. Though it sure would have made list cleanings easier!
