As for me, #17.. ring shopping has been done, now FF''s just saving (I have more expensive taste than I thought! OOPS!). He says the proposal will come before the end of the year, though, so now it''s just the waiting game.. *sighs*..

#76 here....wow, shoots past doesn''t it? I''m no closer than before. Even my beloved trip to Norway at Christmas has been cancelled/postponed indefinitely. He said maybe May or March, but when our friends tried to get a long weekend organised he said he wouldn''t have time for anything until he''s finished his Masters...:-(

SparklyRing, I think I joined the list right when I found PS, so that would be end of August 2008. Jumped from #112 when I joined all the way to #14!

Sometimes, it''s really random how the list moves. I know there were points that I stayed at my # for months on end, then jumped about 10 places in a week.
 
#23 here... I joined the list on 11/19/08 (almost a year ago!) and I was #130!

Don't think an engagement is in the cards for me this year, since SO has decided to pursue grad school instead of a full-time job. However I can't wait until the holidays when, hopefully, I'll jump 10 or so spots!

I joined the list 10/23/08 at #121 and am now #18 more than a year later. It moved pretty quickly in the lower numbers, not so much now. We're nowhere near engagement though so maybe I'll hit #1.

ETA: I started with sunnyd as listkeeper, who turned it over to FrekeChild, who gave it to Alexis, to ladypirate, to elledizzy5, to jcarlylew, to Jessie702 in the interim, to jaylex, to crickett, and now to misskitty. (Did I miss anybody??)
