k, I''m here, i''m registered. Been reading all weekend this site....I love it!! You guys are awesome and have been a great help.

My knowledge has expanded and I''ve visited tons of jewelers now to know I don''t want to go there, but enough to help train my eye.

I know for sure that she wants a princess cut stone. I''m looking at 1.25-1.5 GVS2+ to help stay on budget. I won''t go any lower in either clarity or color.

I''m trying to find ideal premium cut ranges for princess with little success. I''ve been told table % and depth to be in the 68-72/73 range for an ideal cut. Is this accurate?

What other factors should I consider in a princess cut?

I will post all updates with the ring/setting etc. in this thread along with pics of the final product.

I have a target date of Memorial Day for the "question". Wish me luck and thanks in advance for your help.

If you''re shopping online, I''d stick with vendors that offer Idealscope and ASET photos, they really help. AGS0 stones are great as they are graded for light performance, but there are vendors who also hand pick nice GIA stones as well.
