It always makes me laugh to see pictures of people’s pets making funny faces. Thought it might be a viable feel good thread.

Feel free to add pics of other people’s pets making goofy faces if you don’t happen to have one of your own.

Kids and partners don’t count for the sake of this thread, as much time as you spend caring and cleaning up after them lol.

Some of my favorites of shale

Oh, I wish I had one. The beagle mix in my avatar would actually give a full smile when we'd get home. And the bigger you smiled back at him, the bigger his grin would get. He'd pull his lips back in a big toothy grin. I never could get a picture, because every time I'd pull out the camera, both dogs would start barking.

All your pets are adorable!

Oh my goodness I’m swooning from all the cuteness in this thread ❤️❤️❤️

LOVE :kiss2:

I’ll add a few.

That second photo! That sweater!
What kind of dog is she? She’s precious and so cute

Greyhound. She does do oragami ears quite often, I just can't always catch it on camera...lol Quite often though I get the "you gotta be effing kidding me" look

Francesca had so many expressions. She was very emotive.

This was her "are we there yet mommy" face as we drove from NYC to the Jersey Shore every weekend. She had to sit in my lap or she would get car sick. What a love. I miss her more than words can say.

Bobby is not a morning "person" and he wakes up super groggy..."where am I, who are you and bring me my coffee!"

Tommy is a lover not a fighter. Despite his beginning as a mouser where I worked he still does not like confrontation. He is super sweet in every way but super skittish still.
He had a tough beginning.

He always looks at you with those eyes that see all. This is his I love you so much face come here and kiss me. So of course we happily oblige.

This is his fierce roar. Nahh just a yawn. :cheeky:

And this is his resigned look. OK I get it, I am stuck here for a while so will make the best of the situation.
He is our wise kitty.

Fred had this way of looking through you to your very soul. And he was sweet like sugar. When we first rescued him (he was another with a challenging beginning in life) he was skittish and scared and truly took years to come into his own. But we always showered him with love and affection and finally he felt safe and loved and loved us back so very much.

He always sat with his paws crossed. Always content and always sweet. I miss him so much.

He was good at relaxing wherever he was.

And he enjoyed car rides. Occasionally.
This is his expression, "uh oh another fine mess I've gotten myself into..."

Lastly for now, here is Gracie this morning as I take her photo. Her expression here is "human, enough with the camera, go away and give me some peace and quiet, sheesh always with the camera."

@missy you love them all so much. It's clear. Everyone of your kitties is/was lucky.

Aw they are all such beautiful kitties!

So I feel like a real cat owner now after acquiring my first blood drawing scratches. Shale and I were coming back from a walk and in the stairwell and another couple started coming down from above with trash bags. Usually he just cowers near me and let people pass but I think he felt trapped by the structure of the stairwell and probably scared of the big trash bags and just went berserker. I tried to pick him up but he wasn’t having it and I got my scratches from him trying to leap off me. I managed to pin him on the ground (don’t worry he wasn’t hurt. Just stressed) until the couple walked by. Phew.

That’s what I get for trying to train a forest cat to go on leashes walks. He really loves his walks! Usually...

So now this is his contrite, “look how well I’m keeping my claws to myself” look.

I need to think he ended up in the forest through an unlikely and strange series of events, because how anyone can abandon that sweet boy is beyond me!
