After a few months, my ring searching journey has come to end. I bought the stone on James Allen and purchased the setting from a local jeweler. The ring is 1.69ctw and cost me $9,680 ($7,780 for stone & $1,900 for setting). It got appraised for $13,000 retail which I'm pretty happy about.
Thanks everyone for helping me through this process. It's amazing how much I've learned about diamonds! This forum/website is a wonderful resource.
