I learned about slavery's impact on the electoral college in elementary school when I lived in Setauket, Long Island. I am not sure why you are getting the comments you have received thus far just for posting this particular article.

Let it be noted that I do not believe that the president elect's status should be challenged due to those who now oppose the electoral college. I did not vote for him and pray to a being that I understand is not allowed to be mentioned on PS for our country's and my family's well-being. Let's just say that I don't put my trust in man.
