If I was drinking alcohol this is what I would have right now.

Refreshing and bright and oh so good. :lickout:
Though usually I take it without salt. But I feel like living on the edge. :cheeky:

Ringo, yellow for you today!

Fostoria glass, the June pattern in topaz. These were made from 1929-1936. I also have this pattern in other sizes (water goblet, cordial) but a lot of my glasses are packed up down at my place in the city.

ETA: The big brown thing in the background of the first pic is not the world's largest dog turd... it is a toy one of the fur monsters left in the yard!

Happy Saturday kids!

Today I present you with vodka left over from a Christmas In July party mixed with some nasty red juice type stuff the children asked us to buy and then did not drink. (What can I say -- I was looking for something that would be pretty in the pink bowl of the glass!)

The glass was made by McDonald Glass Works in Pennsylvania in the early 1900s, joined on the counter with her little sister, Sherbet.

I really want a drink now. I've been wanting a shot of Baileys for months but we sadly don't have any. We do have beer, wine, vodka, scotch and whiskey though.

Dee Jay, I am loving all of your glasses. They are fabulous!

I don't generally drink in the AM but I could use this right now.

Ingredients are gin, triple sec, lillet and lemon juice (in equal parts), with a dash of absinthe and lemon juice.

It’s 1pm Sunday here.
I’m catching up on work.
And drinking Black Box Malbec from a coffee mug... mug was already on the drying rack, too much work to wash out a wine glass.
I am not posting a photo, I don’t want to get kicked out of this thread

Edit - @missy pretty sure we’ve got the same lime/lemon squishers - those things last decades!

In sisterhood with my dear Yssie, today I am enjoying some Black Box Malbec our of a glass made by Fostoria. The Naverre pattern was made from 1937 - 1980 so this glass could be as “young” as 40 years (and based on the size and shape I do believe it to be on the late end of the production years).

Cheers!
