Typically, I am a really positive person and even get onto people for complaining too much. However... sometimes you just need to complain about something petty.

I knew it''d be silly to devote an entire thread to my little complaint, so I figured I would give everyone else the opportunity to complain about their silly complaint as well. What bothered you today, even though you know it''s not a big deal and not really complaint worthy?

Here''s mine:

I look young, I get it. I am 23...but people think I am still in High School. At least 3 times a week someone will make a comment like, "Is there no school today?" or, "Having a fun day out playing hookie?" Today I got my nails done and the manicurist wanted to know why I wasn''t in school. She was even more shocked that I was *gasp* getting married in a few weeks. I know that I will be thankful when I am 40 and look 30 something, but at the moment it''s very annoying.

Ok, your turn!

Oh, thats frustrating! And by the way I had the same problem. I AM 40 and people think I'm younger than I am. I love that :)

My complaint of the day involves my backyard fence. The gate won't close and I called the fence people (who by the way I paida fortune to install the fence a few years ago) to get it repaired. I called 5 weeks ago and told them I needed it ASAP because I'm getting a puppy. The guy quoted me a price and told me 2 weeks. 2 weeks later, nothing I call again. He says he will be out in a week. He never shows, I forget and realize its been 4 weeks. I call 3 days ago and tell him that I'm beyond annoyed and am told he will be out the next day. He never shows. I call today and tell them that they are fired and don't bother doing the job because I won't pay at this point and now I need to hire someone new to do it.

Unreliablity drives me nuts. Why come out and do a quote and say you want the job and then never do it? I don't get it and that drives me insane how hard it is to find people to do simple home repairs and be reliable.

Lol at the high school comments! I''m 28 and my husband is 27 (28 in a month) and we got carded at a rated R movie the other day! How old are you supposed to be at R movies? 17? We had a good laugh about that...

No complaints here besides not being able to breathe very well (getting over being sick) and the wind that makes my house sound like its going to fall over!

My ayi is driving me nuts this week. Most people have no sympathy because I'm lucky to have one, and I am. But she's driving me nuts. I have been asking her to make something with these glass noodles for several weeks so finally yesterday *I* made some soup with them. She asked me twice if I wanted rice and I said no. She asked me three times if I wanted tortillas and I said no. The highlight of the soup are these super wide glorious clear noodles soaking up the amazing broth I spent hours preparing and it has an asian twist - no i don't want tortillas! But when we sit down to dinner she asks my husband if HE wants tortillas (and he can't say no to her). She's done this sort of thing before... I made an american meal and asked her to make one vegetable dish and she made two dishes (one with meat) and rice... rack of lamb with boiled potatoes and two chinese dishes and rice. ::sigh:: Then when she got my husband more soup last night she used a slotted spoon and only gave him substance - no broth. Ditto my son. I'm like hello? This is SOUP!!! Don't get me started that she eats this musky flavored chinese kim chee stuff with everything and I mean everything. She puts it in spaghetti and fettuccine alfredo, she puts it on tacos, she puts it on her mashed potatoes. It doesn't matter what it is - she uses that stuff. Oh and it annoys me that when she comes the first thing she does is eat. Whether it is noon or 3 she comes hungry. Now the money isn't the issue and she lives here most of the time so feeding her isn't the issue either... but seriously, is she THAT cheap that she will starve herself until 3pm just to get a free peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Its just weird and when she's irritating me even the squeak of the mop sets me on edge!

Okay, vent over... for now lol There's just no one to tell this stuff to, no one takes pity on me!! lol I need to just make a note on facebook and list all the woes of having someone do all of my household chores for me lmao!!!!!

My complaint of the day. The office I work in is in a little office/restaurant/shop community. It''s really community friendly and quaint. On Saturdays there is a farmer''s market in here. I LOVE the farmer''s market, and love how everyone gathers and buys things and talks and there are dogs and people eat at the cafe across from our office. But recently they''ve had this little jazzy type band here... and they park themselves RIGHT in front of our office.... so far as to block the door

and they plug into our building for electricity

. This morning they literally had to move their equipment out of the door way for me to get in. To top it off... they aren''t that great.... actually they are a bit annoying. Their flutist plays too many high notes... their singer is horrible.... and I don''t like the horns.

Petty I know....

I hope you guys have better days!!!!

I am tired of rude and snippy cashiers at our local grocery stores. The 2 stores I frequent more of their cashiers are grouchy than not. I am always polite and say hi and ask how are you today. They act like I am putting them out that they have to check me out. Grr. People don''t have to be so rude.

That''s not petty! That''s annoying as hell!

My complaint:

I''m working. On a Saturday. I''m management, salaried, no overtime for moi. This is neccessary, but it is also on my dime and my time. Lovely, huh? Oh, and it''s sunshiny - - for the first time in a dang week! And here I sit . . .

My tummy hurts.

I know this is going to sounds really dramatic, but as of now, my husband and I don''t have a place to move to.

My complaint of the day (and its everyday)...why, oh why does my DH always have to take the garbage out of the kitchen when
I start cleaning it??? I dont know how many times I have gone to throw something in the can and there is no bag in there. I know
I should appreciate they he takes it out at all but cant he find a more convenient time (for me). Whinning over...i think.

Zero motivation to do work... to avoid complaining!

I''m sick of studying for the LSAT!

I just graduated two weeks ago, which means I finished my last round of finals the Friday afternoon before graduation. I can''t take the October LSAT because its not offered in the country my Fulbright is in, and I''d have to get tons of permission/paper work to do either of the following: a)stay in the States till October or b)leave my Fulbright country and fly to another nearby country which does offer the LSAT. That would also be serious $$$. And of course, the advisor that grants permission for either of these has been on vacation for the last two weeks. Its been somewhat of a logistical nightmare. So, I''m telling my friend this, and explaining that I''ve been stressed trying to figure out all of the logistics, and she says, "I want to punch you in the face because you''re being a brat." Thanks friend. (She thinks I''m being a brat because I got the Fulbright, and I shouldn''t have any complaints because of that.)
