The whole thing is just spectacularly gorgeous. GK, enjoy and describe for us, please!

I can't get over the skill of making all that without magnification & by hand. The thinness of the garnet layers is unbelievable without machinery. Gives me renewed respect for humans!

Well...having seen that enameled gold diamond ring with the table cut stone, I feel compelled to link this thread with at least one of the Pricescope threads on Golconda diamonds! That is far too wonderful an example of a Golconda diamond not to have available to people who are looking up those stones!!!
