The Bachelorette: Chris or Roberto?

Who do you think she will pick? It always seems like they pick the person they feel the most chemistry. I hope she picks Chris though, because while I worry that he's very close to his family (maybe too close?), I think he has a lot of potential for a long term relationship.

I have continued to watch this time because there actually seem to be some nice normal guys
in the running.
I think either of these men could make good husbands.
It just depends on what kind of a life she wants to lead.
Never did understand what she saw in Frank.

I don't know...I feel like she has more chemistry with Roberto and more of a "friends" vibe going with Chris. Chris is a sweetheart, but I think he has gotten a little too attached to his family after his mom's death because he seems to bring them up in every conversation they have. I think in the end she will choose Roberto, but I hope if she does Chris doesn't take it too hard.

eta: Yeah, I don't know what she ever saw in Frank or why she wasted her time crying over him. He always seemed a little "off" to me and now we know why. Didn't he say at the beginning he wanted to be a screenwriter? I guess this was his attempt at gaining fame

I like both of them.. I feel like her connection with Roberto is more physical though than emotional. He even said he had never opened up to her; he's just always saying she's so cute while she's saying he's so hot. It's hard to know for sure how deep their relationship goes since I'm sure they edit it all out! With Chris, I would worry that he is just clinging to her because she's the first girl to come along since his mom died. Even with that being said, I feel like he is more of the husband type than Roberto.. Or maybe it's just that he talks about family and the importance of strong relationships so much more than Roberto? I'm so glad Frank is out. After their first date she kept talking about their amazing connection and I just never saw anything there.

How fake do you think the Frank thing was? It seemed so scripted, but if it was, both he and Ali seemed like good actors because their emotions at least seemed genuine. Or maybe he genuinely discovered early on he still had feelings for his ex, but the producers convinced him to stay and play along for ratings (and maybe, hopefully, Ali was in on it too).

I think Chris is too good for her. I'm not the biggest fan of her, although I liked a lot of the guys this season, and she seemed to make some good choices, other than Frank. But Chris is the guy she probably wishes she had feelings for because he's such a good guy, but really doens't...she wants Roberto so I'm confident that's who she's going to choose.

With these shows, it always seems there's someone the audience can see as the 'best' choice but it's never who the person falls hardest for. That could just be editing though!

I really felt that this season, it was obvious that some of the guys were kept around for ratings (Justin, the tattoo crazy guy), and that Ali played along but didn't even bother to really fake much interest in these guys and there was no real drama when they left.

When are they going to change the name of these shows to "Dating Narcissisits & Sociopaths"?? That Frank is the worst. He was *enjoying* toying with both of those girls -- he doesn't love EITHER of them, only himself. That scene on the couch with the ex-gf?? He was TORTURING her with all the talk about how much chemistry he had with Ali right away and how they courted all over the WORLD etc etc. He was dragging her through it for kicks w/o letting on that he'd been thinking of *her* or wanted anything to do with *her* anymore. He made her come to him! Ha! I bet that chick TOTES broke up with him (for being the slimeball he is) and this was all an elaborate ploy to make her jealous & crazy enough to take his squirrly, shifty a** back ... you know .. until she wises up again. YUCK YUCK YUCK YUCK.

As to Chris & Roberto? I'm indifferent. Not sure she's "ending up" w/anyone -- and if she DID -- it, like all the others, wouldn't last 6 months. WhatEVS.

I think she and Frank were a better match and now since he is no longer in the picture I don't think she'll pick anyone.

If she picks neither guy, maybe Jake will call her since he is no longer with Vienna.

chris is the ex-bf of a daughter of a friend of a friend... (sort of long chain...anyway i found out he was in the final 2 a while ago but I haven't been watching the show). apparently he JUST broke up with a GF of 4+ years right before going on the show?

I thought Ali and Frank seemed to be the best together, so now that THAT isn't a possibility I don't think she'll end up with either of the two remaining guys. (That whole Frank thing was bizarre, by the way.)

Roberto is super hot, and he seems like a really stand up, nice guy.
Chris is really nice, down to earth, and just seems like an all around great guy.

However, these people either don't have conversations about real things, or if they do, the show doesn't air them. So, assuming none of them have discussed anything of any substance, I don't think any of them will have a clue whether they actually want to be in a real relationship with Ali because they don't know anything important about each other.

I think she will pick Roberto though because she seems to have more sexual chemistry with him... after seeing where that lef Jake and Vienna, though, I hope she is smarter than that

Honestly, I think both of them are two good for her. After seeing her on the Bachelor, I think that she's a catty b*tch.

I completely agree with you, Vesper. DH and I watch these shows together, and he just keeps saying "these guys are way too good for this girl."
