I watched the last 15 minutes of the finale episode having never seen any of this season. The only stuff I knew about the season was that the bachelor had been on the previous Bachelorette and that he was in the Air Force (right?) and a few other tidbits I had picked up on from skimming this thread. I must say that I find Jake incredibly fake. I think that Tenley is pretty classy and Vienna seemed real too.

So whats this about a pregnancy bomb shell? Did he knock someone up?

No... not yet... just think it would make for the kind of drama that Bachelor/Bachelorette loves!

Agree, the ring was stunning. Expect nothing less from Neil Lane.

So I guess Jake will go on to Dancing with the Stars, and then what? A real job?
Jake and Vienna were on Regis & Kelly this morning and said they were going to take it
slow and let a real relationship develop.

Did anyone else see this this morning? Whew - Vienna''s dress was extremely short.

I wonder if Vienna''s immaturity (she''s only 23 but acts younger in my opinion) will annoy him after a short while. She reminds me of a young college girl. Isn''t he in his 30s? I caught the last few episodes. They should have asked Tennley (sp?) to be the next Bachelorette.

Tenley has only kissed one person since her divorce over a year ago, and that was Jake... I don''t think there is any way that she could handle the *physical* parts that this shows embodies.

With Vienna, I think what bothered me...from the beginning was...

when ever she speaks to anyone...she starts out looking at them in the eyes, and then ends up looking over their head for the answer. There is something that challenges trust when a person can''t look you in the eyes. (I hope that isn''t insensitive and my observation is the result of some corrective childhood eye procedure. It is just something I noticed and it got more and more exaggerated as she got more air time.) She wasn''t even able to look Jakes'' mom in the eye...Tenley on the other hand, as Disney as she was, zeroed in on eyes, feelings, emotions and was articulate and expressive. Vienna''s answers were- "I just don''t know why" "I just" argghhH! I just didn''t see his choice coming at all.

As for the production:

If you have watched this before...any version, you know the first person out of what ever vehicle, is the one to go. They should switch frames back and forth until the last moment or near to the last moment is revealed, instead of doing each person separately.

All the suspense and they drop the ball in the last moments...when they could hold on for much longer...well to me that is silly!



PS...As for Havens LOVE for the theme song, I think she is going to get snippets of that in posts for years to come...

Yeap, that was a challenge for all psers. Let''s not let her down!

LOL! No... DH actually said something about that last night and I told him that would require a girl with a backbone... and no girl on this show would ever LEAVE the production under her own will.

To be honest... if any girl ever was going to slap the guy for not picking her... I am 100% it would have been Vienna!
