The Affair

Hi,
As an avid fan of "The Affair", I was honestly disappointed in last night's series ending.
Granted, I couldn't watch the last 20 minutes because DH came in, and that was it.
Anyone feel any different? The reviews were all favorable, so I'm perplexed.

I loved this show but we haven't yet watched this season so I cannot answer your question and I can't follow this thread in case of spoilers. But when I finally get to watch it I will try remembering to return here and answer your question. Sorry it was a disappointing ending. One of the reasons we haven't watched this season yet is last season was disappointing for me.

I will! It might be a while because for some reason TIVO doesn't interface with Comcast so I cannot access it at the beach. Crazy and a new development. I think Comcast wants us to use their equipment but no thanks. It's all so clunky compared to TIVO. So will probably have to wait til we return to Brooklyn and watch it there. But I will try to remember and come back and share my thoughts.

@babs23r I was disappointed in it. I have watched it without pause for all 5 seasons and rewatched it from the beginning over the summer (its amazing how much more you get when you watch it a second time). I watched the whole episode and am conflicted. Beautiful acting and it was such a story of forgiveness which I totally dig but .... disappointed that Noah found redemption in the end, and Alison, well, she deserved better than the end of her chapter. There were also alot of improbabilities but then again, it's fiction.

I agree completely! No spoilers here, but I was expecting more.
Such a serious and dark subject ends with an almost camp last episode.
