The following 25 questions are from the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter 2018 issues of Gems & Gemology. Refer to the articles in those issues to find the single best answer for each question. Entries must be received no later than Monday, August 12, 2019. All entries will be acknowledged with an e-mail, so please remember to include your name and e-mail address (and please write clearly on mail-in entries).

Score 75% or better, and you will receive a certificate of completion (PDF file). Earn a perfect score, and your name also will be listed in the Fall 2019 issue of Gems & Gemology.

Well I am up for the challenge, but it has taken me a LOOONG time to get 50% through and I’m afraid I’m going to lose it to an Internet blip. I would suggest writing your answers down in case that happens!

I doubt I will have time but may procrastinate more than normal with the other stuff so I can find the time LOL

I’d like (I guess after August 12) to discuss. I was hung up on a few things.

I think I have a good chance at getting a certificate— or if I don’t, I would have probably been close.

Overall, I feel good about it. However, that is how my daughter felt when she went into every college chem class she did and barely pulled a C, so i’m not relying on a feeling. (And she is my smartest child, 31 ACT etc)

I still have no idea about the last question. (I’m not sure all are the same— the may mix it up for each person). I made a semi-informed guess, and I don’t feel confident on that one in particular.

I know exactly what you mean lol. The last week Of July is such a miserable slammed week every freaking year for me, and this year is no exception.

I used to subscribe to G&G but then it got too expensive. I think all the issues are online now.
