Great big shout out first to everyone at Pricescope for answering my questions and setting me on the direct path.
Thanks to Jonathan at GoodOldGold for having an awesome accent and providing tons of information so the consumer can make an informed decision. Especially thanks for the videos which sold me on the beautiful diamond (.85 carat, G/SI1, AGS 000 Ideal). I regret I never got to talk to you on the phone, but I have to call you guys next week so hopefully we can chat. Thanks to Sarah and Vicki as well for being patient with my questions and helping me through the process.
A WORLD of thanks to Barry at Excel Diamonds. I called him last week and asked him if it was possible, despite the 2 week production time, to create a Tiffany style setting and set my diamond, in less than a week. Despite a snow storm in NYC, a few days lost in shipping the diamond to me and then to them, etc., he came through and got the completed ring back to me this morning so I can fly to Colombia tomorrow, ask my girlfriend''s father''s permission (in spanish, lol), and then if all goes well, propose in Spanish (again, hope THAT goes well haha).
I highly recommend both of the above awesome vendors; I''m hitting GOG up in a few years when I have more money to get a nice, and huge, Asscher; I''m hitting Barry up in a few months to get the matching wedding band. Without further ado....
