Hello All!

Thanks for all of your help in engagment ring ideas to show my boyfriend. I''m happy to report that he is no longer just my boyfriend but now my fiance!

He proposed back in July - but we took a vacation in South America and I started a new job out of state. So it''s been quite the busy time for us.

I''m attaching a photo of my beautiful Mae Vona e-ring (1.4 carat diagonally positioned princess cut in platinum) - it is really difficult to take photos of the diamond! Our cameras will focus on anything but...

Also, I am looking for a jeweler in the Hartford / New York / Boston / Northern New Jersey area that would carry Steven Kretchmer''s Polarium rings - for his wedding band. I haven''t been terribly successful in my online searching. Does anyone know of any jewelers that carry the Polarium. Or an idea of the cost for a size 11 mans ring. I realize it''s a lot of platinum.... We are thinking that we might have to wait until 6 months - 1 year after the wedding to afford the ''ring of his dreams'', but I wanted to start finding out the $$ involved.

I love the polarium too, and plan on getting one as my band. The best price I''ve found out there is via Pearlmans. Price changes by size, but call Justin at Pearlman''s and he''ll be amazingly helpful. I''m not affiliated with them, just a satisfied pre-customer. Please update here if you get it, with impressions of the Polarium. I''m yet to see any posts from anyone who owns one.
