Thanks everyone-I got my ring!

I want to thank everyone for their honest opinions for the diiamond for my engagement ring (the GIA oval). It took a stressful situation and made it more reassuring that I was getting something good.

Here is my finished ring-it came in Friday, my fiance proposed, I said yes, of course, and my ring is lovely and sparkly (at least I think so!).

I apologize in advance for the bad pics-it is really hard to caputure the shape and beauty of the ring-I finally got a pic which wasn''t too big to post, too

GIA certified G SI1 oval 1.25ct center, .82ctw sides set in platinum.

Thanks everyone! You are all too kind. I wear a 4 1/2 ring size. My fingers in the last pic look kinda nasty tonight, though-just got back from the beach LOL! And NO, I didn''t wear my ring on the beach (too paranoid to lose it)!

I will get my nails done and figure out this picture size thing so I can take a nice ''official'' pic!
