1. Is "J" color really that noticeable when set in a ring?

2. Do you think there is much risk wire transferring money to Good Old Gold? Anyone out there have any problems with them?

I don''t think J color is noticable at all when set in a ring, and you should have absolutely no problem with GoodOldGold. I''m sure you''ll be pleased with them!

I would not worry about transferring money to GOG.

Color is subjective. Some people don''t mind the warmth of a J, some prefer it and some don''t care for it. It will be up to you once you see it. I happen to think a well cut J is in an good place because the beauty of the cut outshines the warmth. I think you''ll be pleased with a GOG stone. Put it on hold if you are considering it.

I wouldn''t even think twice about a wire transfer with GOG, they are very reputable and I wouldn''t have a concern in your mind about this. As far as J color goes, it will look white set in a ring since it''s well-cut. You may be able to see some "warmth" especially from the side. Some can handle this and like it, others cannot. The good thing is that GOG has an excellent trade in and return policy if you decide you don''t like it. They will make sure you get exactly the right stone!

I am so pleased to have been of help to you Tim! There are many many happy J owners here with diamonds which face up plenty white even in white metal rings. As KC says you might notice a teensy tidge of warmth from the side in some lights but this is generally very slight and not an issue. Your J will look much whiter than many mediocre cut higher colours due to its superior cut quality!

Also no problem at all with a wire transfer to GOG.
