Hi everyone, my second post in just 2 days....I am buying this as a gift for my Mother, as she would never buy for herself. It is a 40th Wedding Anniverary gift.

My budget is around a 6ct. Just want some help with style & diamond size.

I like the tennis bracelet 'Half-Bezel' and the 'X-Prong' from Whiteflash, I also like the 'Channel' from Brian Gavin...which style?...the diamonds do look closer together in the 'Half-Bezel' & 'Channel', maybe looks better?

Would you go with 6ct or those that have a 4 or 5 will that size be Ok? If there is a much better look with a 6ct I would go with it.

So, I guess my question really is.... which one 'Half-Bezel', 'X-Prong', 'Channel' style in a 4ct 5ct or 6ct?

Thanks for any and all suggestions

PS...I purchased those 2 diamonds I asked about on my very first post, Thanks

EDIT: sorry, I tried to post the links for the bracelets, could't get it to work, I don't think I really know how. I will try agin to see if I can get it to work, maybe need to do more homework.

Please don't be offended but are people still buying tennis bracelets I thought they were rather dated......Maybe I'm wrong...

What size diamond ring does she wear? I kind of like diamond jewelry to be balanced.

I don't consider the BG channel bangle a tennis bracelet and prefer a flexible tennis bracelet over a bangle, personally.

DS2006...thanks for posting the links, I think the size of her diamond ring was a 1.35ct (I know it was a 1.3 something)

Oh wow, really?...maybe I should go with something else. I guess I need to pay more attention, may hve to re-think this.

No, they are classic and timeless! Many people here consider them staple items! I think one with approximately 10 point stones is plenty big! That is the size of mine and I have mostly had a 1.5 ct diamond. I think either of the WF bracelets at 5 cts will give you around 10 point stones.

thanks....I do like the 5ct size, and really leaning towards the 'Half-Bezel'

I kind of like the half bezel because the stones will be protected from chipping. So I think that one is a nice choice and not overly dressy looking.

Thanks DS2006...I think I am going that route. She doesn't wear a lot of jewelry, but once in a while she will wear a bracelet of some sort, in her job she doesn't wear rings, but always wears earrings. Just want to get something with a touch of bling that will work casual or dress, I hope I am making good choice.

Mine is 5 CTW - I can post a picture later. I'm not a fancy person. I wear it 24/7/365, except while showering. I think it's a classic staple, like diamond studs. my stones are in 4 prongs, but i like the bezel idea.

I have a tennis bracelet and LOVE it. I only take it off to clean it. I don't see how a line of sparkling diamonds all the way around the wrist would be dated. Sparkles from every angle!

I think there are certain styles of tennis bracelets that are dated though.

What a lovely gift!

Tennis bracelets are timeless and just gorgeous to look at (although I agree that some styles may be dated).

Is this something you think she will wear every day? If so, your first choice may be the best option, but something about the x prong makes me swoon....

ETA: Just re-read your post. The half bezel is perfect for casual/formal and the 5 ct size gives you lots of bling!

Hi, yes I like the diamond size in your 5ct, they look plenty big...thanks for the pic.

My Mom is not a 'bling' lady, but I know she likes to look nice and when not working she will maybe have lunch on weekends and wear her diamond studs with her wedding rings, so I thought adding a nice diamond bracelet would be nice...also I have seen ladies wearing just a tennis bracelet without much else (jewelry that is) and that really looks nice on their arms.

That is an incredibly generous gift and I am sure your mother is going to be thrilled!
