Hello,

I am currently debating whether to buy a 5 carat princess cut tennis bracelet(50 stones weighing .10 each) set in 14k yellow gold with G color and VS quality($5700) or the same bracelet in G color with a mix of SI2 and I1 clairty stones($4100). I've been told by JamesAllen that the visual difference is very, very minor and that the cheaper bracelet really pops and looks brilliant. I don't want to be cheap and save $1600 if it is at the expense of brilliance, but at the same time I don't want to overpay for something that really doesn't make a visual difference whatsoever to the naked eye. What would you ladies/guys do? Is the I1 really even noticeable on such small stones(.10 each)?

Is there a return policy on the bracelet? If so, I''d get the less expensive one and check it out yourself. You can always go up in clarity if you aren''t happy.

Celtics, clarity in stones rarely affects brilliance, especially in stones of this size. In larger stones, grade-making clouds may have an impact, but even then not typically a substantial one.

In the size stones you''re talking about, there shouldn''t be a visible difference. As long as the stones are well-cut, the bracelet should sparkle.
