Tanga Rose Garnet

These are so pretty. One of my favorite colors. And I can't find them for sale anywhere. Does anyone have a lead on rose/purple garnets?

I went back into the breach once more. Maybe I am a glutton for punishment. But this is it for me and hot pink garnets. Still want a light pink and a green sometime.

For light pink I would opt for Morganite, Kunzite, Imperial Topaz or Tourmaline. I kick myself for having to part with my Imperial Topaz from Jeff W. I would love an icy pink oval as a replacement.

As for green, a Tsavorite or a Tourmaline - done with green now for me, still have a long green Tourmaline from Jeff W to set as a ring.

I think the stone is very pretty, but if you were looking for a hot pink – that is not it. I always get frustrated when the color looks so different from the vendor than it does IRL.

For this I was thinking garnet but 100% I want other pinks and greens! I have one piece of pink morganite that I am waiting for the right companion to set into a pendant. Kunzite I worry about fading, since I live in the intense sun of the sub tropics. I have been looking for a good medium, non shifty, pink tourmaline and so far no luck. I always want bigger stones and that is part of the problem. Jeff does not even have the rough. Can I just say that I have seen your pink topaz and I found it heartsoppingly gorgeous. I was cursing myself for not seeing it go on sale, and I am currrently talking to Jeff about cutting something for me, but the only rough he has left will be between 3 and 5 cts and I tend to do a hard stop at 5 min for my very long fingers. I am thinking about it though. The color is metallic and icy, as you said! He has some peach, but I don't think that would have the same effect.

Someone is cutting me a green tourmaline as we speak. I hope it will be great. I would love to see some of your green pictures!!
