Musa15, were you able to make a decision?![]()
@Kim N just as a thought experiment: how does this stone look?
2.74 I VS2

It's gorgeous and very well cut!
I checked the HCA tool and it has an HCA score of 1. I think I’m going to call customer service to see what my options are. Outside of that do you think the angles are good on this one?
I just got back from Puerto Rico so was hoping to make a decision today and I’m still undecided! Haha I am *almost* wanting to return both and try my luck with another order. However, clean origin is kind of funky with returns. They consider a return and purchase of something else an “exchange” and only 1 exchange is allowed per household, so I don’t think I would be able to purchase another 2 stones to compare. I’m in a pickle!
Not intended to thread jack, but I also just came back from Puerto Rico! Did you enjoy your trip? The whole island went thru a lot from the hurricane a couple years ago. i am so glad it is slowing coming back to life again. People are super friendly and the beaches are beautiful.
Can you please post the link to the DiaCertImages site for this one?
Those areas look like reflections from the light source or photography set-up. Leakage would appear differently.
Thanks Kim, you beat me to posting the link. I was concerned that the transparent areas were light leakages. You think it’s a reflection?
stray light getting into the scope.Yes, I do. @Karl_K, would you be able to take a look at these?

stray light getting into the scope.
Its a common issue with dibox, they have a light source to close to the ring that holds the scopes.
Thanks for the confirmation, Karl!
Thank you both!!
Ok one more question is that a crack or feather at the 11 o’clock position? Would it be visible with regular viewing distance?

Just ordered the 2.74 I stone! I am going to be in so much trouble (with myself) as I soon will have 3 stones that I need to evaluate
If you're following this never ending saga, I now have 1 2.64 G colored stone, 1 2.8 J colored stone and this newest one will be a 2.74 I colored stone. I am a fan of the SIZE of the 2.8 J but I notice that it is not very bright and the dull yellow/brown color is not that nice. I am a huge fan of the CRISP 2.64 G colored stone but find it to be just under my ideal size in terms of finger coverage. So here's to hoping that the 2.74 I colored stone will strike a nice balance between color and size. fingers crossed.
I will update this thread with my findings, because you know, science.
