i was wondering if anyone had any helpful tips on how to take pictures of my ring. i have tried but all i get is a bright glare and abosultely no clarity of the diamond. Ur help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Use the macro setting on your camera...hopefully it has one. When it''s on, often a little flower icon appears in the viewer.

You don''t have to take the pictures inches away from the ring...you can blow up the pictures, crop, size them, etc in your photo editing program.

Take pictures outside, or in a bright room, and don''t use the flash!

hope this helps..

The best thing is for you not to be holding your camera. I have a tripod, but you could just sit you camera and diamond on two different elevated surfaces.

Use the macro setting as stated.

Turn the flash off and take the picture in a well lit area. If you are indoors, you can aim a flashlight at the gem to get a certain amount of clarity. You will find that the light and the small size of the gem will cause problems with focus, however, the brighter the ambient light, the less this is a problem, i.e. on a table outside during daylight would be best.
