Hello All,

Well I got an early birthday present of a 5M digital camera - and what better thing to take pictures with but diamonds!

So - here''s the thing... when I use a flash - I get lots of sparkles..that look like lint or even dirt. So I cleaned my ring - but that wasn''t it.

The first picture below is with the flash on. The second pic is with it off - and the ring in natural light (window). How do you get a direct light source on the diamond - without causing the "sparkle" effect? Is there a homemade filter I can configure? Or is it a trade secret?

Do i try to light "around" it instead of directly at it?

Any ideas...

Laney, it''s gorgeous! So much bling, what are the specs, was this cutom made for you?

Laney-

I looked at the other thread too, and just wanted to chime in that your rings and center stone are gorgeous!
