taking photos of a diamond

hi everyone
I saw my stone for the first time last night ! I AM IN LOVE ! I posted about it on my thread because I want to keep all my ''stuff'' together as I like going back and re-reading, following the progress !

I tried taking photographs but all I got was a bright white flash .... so I''m looking for help in how to set your camera (the camera is a canon 5 meg and does take good photos generally)

Hi Croi,

Try the macro setting on your camera (the little tullip) and no flash. Also try back light, daylight is the best, holding it in front of your window (do I make sense???)
