the inclusion on the table seems to be a needle... correct ? also.... any feedback on the "FIC" - i supposed this is due to the high crown ??

Is this for you Frankie? Have you seen a 3ct H in person? Just wondering how you feel about the color.

It looks promising. There is the possibility it will look a little more subdued ("darker") in many lighting conditions than a more balanced TIC stone. You will see more fire. Yssie posted about her BIC stone a while back, it was a 1.8ct I think, one upgrade ago ;)) Her's I think had even more unconventional proportions that this one.

What do you enjoy most about diamonds Frankie? Bright white light or Fire? I tend to like bright white light return more than fire because for some reason I find my eyes don't perceive fire very well. So for me a BIC would not be my first choice. This stone you are considering also has shorter lfg which will make it chunky in its light return, but again, potentially less "head light" bright and white.

But you would need to see it in person to form your own impressions, my comments are very general.

I think this stone would have a very different appearance than your current stone. Have you seen this stone IRL? I think you'd definitely need to see it to determine if this stone is for you. You have a very beautiful stone; changing the color and optics to achieve the 3 ct. mark would require some careful determination on your part. Your current ring produces some beautiful finger coverage!

Dreamer I did! And oh, I adored that stone! I forget what proportions your current stone has Frankie.. I went from a shallower 33/41 type to a 36/40.5 and the difference was night and day! But I'm the opposite of Dreamer - I love coloured light and would happily give up white light entirely for a bit more colour, so... (and, of course, I was specifically looking for personality differences, if I had no idea that different diamonds with different proportions performed differently I'd probably have just seen sparkle and not given it another thought!)

ETA: is this your current stone? https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/2-32-g-vs1-rb-stone-to-be-set-with-michael-b.150879/
If so I'm not sure you'd actually see much difference at all unless you're really looking, through a wide variety of lighting types - it's nothing so extreme as the size and proportions difference of my jump, esp w/ the 58 table reducing angled crown surface...

Frankie have you seen this stone? You know that a 3ct H isn't going to be "icy white", right? And that it'll be GIGANTIC in a halo on your finger?
