I''m engaged!! It happened last night, my birthday. I was trying to talk myself into thinking it wouldn''t because I didn''t want to be disappointed. We went to dinner. It was delicious. I had a very large Blue Moon
We got to his house and I had been in my work clothes all day. I figured it wasn''t happening, so I went to take a shower and get comfortable. I came down (in his robe) and he was on the phone with a guy who wanted him to do a job this weekend. This guy like to talk. So I''m laying on the couch for a while, wet hair, no makeup and drinking another beer. He finally gets off the phone and comes and sits down. He says, "So, do you want your present now?" I said sure if you want to give me one (all the while thinking, don''t get upset if it isn''t a ring, be happy, you love him" He hands me a gift bag. I finally open the box and blink, look at him and he say''s "Do you know what this means?"
Of course I do, but I say anyway "you''ll have to explain it to me"
He says "I was wondering if you will you marry me?" Of course I said yes.
We haven''t talked about a date yet, but we would both love to get married on a beach in Hawaii ...
