so, very unexpectedly, my so (i mean fi!) proposed last night! it was a total shock, even though there were little clues i didn''t pick up on until afterward. we were going to dinner but got a late start so the restaurant we were planning on going to was closing. he suggested we take a scooter ride & decide where to eat. he drove up to our college campus & parked by this area with the "kiss me quick" walking bridge. he said "i love you a million" (our thing) and i said, "i love you a million and one." he said, "forever?" i said, "of course," then he was down on his knee. i think i asked "what are you doing, silly?" before replying with "YES!!" it was very sweet and he said he was nervous all day, especially asking my parents! he picked the ring all by himself & i love it! it''s not something i ever would have picked by myself but it''s perfect for us!! i''ll post a pic of it soon, my camera''s dead & too busy spreading the good news to charge it!!
